The one after the freedom celebration

Monday, July 1, 2013
Last night Perry and I picked Andrew up from work and we went out to Flint River Baptist for their annual Freedom Celebration. It is this huge party with food, rides, music and fireworks. We didn't stay for the fireworks because we thought it would probably frighten Perry...based on how easily he startles with any loud noise...and so we wouldn't get stuck in terrible traffic getting home. But we grabbed some food and ate it picnic style while listening to For King and Country. It was a fun night just hanging as a little family. I didn't get any pictures while we were at the celebration...oops...but took a couple when we went back to the car to feed P.

Have I mentioned how much our little boy likes to smile? It just warms our heart. I think he knows what a camera is (more like the concept that an iphone being held up in front of him means he is being photographed). He is such a happy baby.

On our way home we stopped and sonic for 1/2 price milkshakes. P was not happy about sitting in his carseat so we broke him out while we sat and waited on our drinks. I promise we are not letting a 6 month old baby drive. : )
