The one at EarlyWorks

Our church has a standing playgroup on Tuesday mornings. I work every Tuesday without fail, so we always have to miss it. Every once in a while though they toss in a random playgroup on a Thursday or Friday and it happens to line up with a day I am off. Said stars aligned last week and Perry and I were able to go to playgroup. It was at EarlyWorks, a local children's history museum.

While we were there Perry learned all about American history, Helen Keller, farming...ok not really. But he had fun exploring and playing with all the toys, and being in a safe environment made for kids.

We spent a lot of time in the Biscuit's Backyard play area. There were so many toys and things to climb on.

P's first train table experience. He was pretty mesmerized.

It was a fun morning and I enjoyed getting to visit with mommy friends. I love being a (super) part-time stay at home mom. After playgroup we came home and P took a good nap. Then we ran some errands and went over to my Aunt Kay's for dinner with the family and some sweet cousins who were in town for their annual trip to Huntsville. It is crazy to think that this time last year they were throwing a surprise baby shower for us (and Perry). This year he was cruising and crawling circles around the house.
