Walt Disney World Trip, day 7

Wednesday, October 29, 2014
On day 7 we spent the morning in Epcot with the Eckleys. We met up for rope drop. We made rope drop every day of the trip that we intended to, which is no small feat when you have busy days and late nights but so worth it given what you can accomplish those first couple hours the parks are open.

And somehow or another, Perry was all smiles and ready to go.

The big kids and adults went to go ride thrill rides at rope drop while P and I went straight over to Nemo and rode it over and over with little breaks to look at the fishies in the acquarium and play in the shark playground. It was fun mommy/perry time.

Once the others rode Test Track and Mission Space they came over and we all rode Nemo together. Perry loved Nemo and pointing out all the fish and sea creatures through the attraction. He now calls all fish "Nemo." Then we did Turtle Talk with Crush which was cute.

By this point we were ready to use our Soarin fastpass and get some lunch. The Eckleys ate at Sunshine Seasons and kept Perry so Andrew and I could ride Soarin together without having to rider switch which was awesome.

Then our family walked out the back of Epcot to the Beach Club resort to eat at the Beaches and Cream Soda Shop. This was on my short list of places that I had never eaten and wanted to on this trip. We had yummy burgers and fries and shared a "No Way Jose" ice cream sundae for dessert. Which was chocolate and peanut butter heaven.

Perry fell asleep on the walk over. All that Nemo riding wore him right out. He perked up for his hot dog and fries though.
After lunch it was due time to get ourselves back to our resort for rest time because we had a big night ahead at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Which will need a post all it's own.
