Christmas Eve

We had to wake Perry up on Christmas Eve to make it to the 5 pm service on time. Bless his little sleepy heart. We just love Christmas Eve services at Rivertree. They are simple and sweet and family friendly with songs, a message and the Lords Supper. The church is decorated so pretty too.

The whole family went to the same service so we got to do a few minutes of visiting afterwards. Perry and Granddaddy matched in their vests.

From church we headed up on the mountain for Gibson family Christmas. It was a great time of food and fellowship...and a capella singing. I pretty much failed at picture taking by this point in the night. More time was spent running herd on a little boy and keeping him from breaking anything. I did get this cute one of Perry and his great-pawpaw.

We headed home Christmas Eve about 9, to put P in bed to dream of sugar plums, so Santa (I mean Andrew) could make his new train table appear by the tree. We feared it would be a daunting task, but it took only about 15 minutes. We knew we would have one very happy boy come morning.
