Looking back at 2015

Monday, January 4, 2016
2015 is done and it is time to bring it to a close. It has been an eventful year. Lots of travel and fun times as well as sad times and loss. That is what this life promises...joy and grieving. Thankful for our faith that has carried us through this year and will continue to carry us through the next. As I think back to everything 2015 had to offer here are some the experiences that stick out most:

  • January: Perry's 2nd birthday party, on a vintage train car no less
  • February: It snowed in Huntsville while mommy was away, which meant lots of snow play time with Granna and Grandaddy
  • March: Ben's birthday...and the boy wanted Brazilian steak
  • April: Easter and a little boy who was big enough to really get into the whole egg hunting shenanigans
  • May: Getting to celebrate Grandaddy's 60th Birthday...such treasured milestone and memories
  • June: annual beach getaway with my graduate school girls, where the population of genetic counselors in a Carolina beach town increases by eight
  • July: European Vacay with Andrew
  • August: Perry started the new school year in the older 2's class
  • September: Amazing 9 night family vacation on a Disney cruise and at Disney World
  • October: Pumpkins everywhere!
  • November: Finally made it down to the plains for an Auburn game. It wasn't a pretty football season but War Eagle always!
  • December: Christmas is hands down our favorite time of year with all it's festivities. We took very prep-tastic christmas card photos this year. Love this little guy in his Vineyard Vines bowtie!
